I previously asked for help with finding somewhere to flash ecu, My s10 was so powerless that I regretted having bought it and missed my etv1000 caponord engine. If my s10 engine was a person it had spent years smoking 40 cigs a day, eating for three and just sitting on it's bum watching telly..Honestly it felt gutless and weary ,If I couldn't get it sorted I was going to sell it.I rode down on Thursday and told Geoff "if you put it on dyno as it is,and hold it at 8000rpm it will end in tears"He replied that going on dyno would prob show what was wrong,,,so onto dyno.He usually comes out of dyno room with printed readout ie before,,he had took it to 5000 rpm and stopped cos it was so was running far too lean,so he flashed it and back on dyno.SORTED, I could tell in 200yards that it was lots better it I didn't want to come on here raving about it until I knew for certain.Went up Yorkshire sales yesterday and it was awesome, pulls like a train, revs nice n clean up to red line, lots of grunt no glitches. Its the best £360 I've spent .If you can find anyone who knows more than this chap I will weld fog!Ps s10 is staying, arrow headers are in post and most important of all ,,,, I'm no longer pining for my capo engine, apps I've owned over thirty bikes,I'm 60 yrs old I've done a bit of racing and I'm ok with machines ( stripped n rebuilt a cbx 6 cylinder.Tommy Tickle

I got a note from a member who asked to see if this was a troll message from Hilltop and to look a bit deeper. In doing so, Tommy looks like a fairly new but regular member who had a good experience. YAY!

At the same time, Hilltop seems to be one of those that folks love or hate. Nothing unusual about being mostly good reviews, mostly bad, or mostly good with a couple of clinkers. But here, at ADV, at UKGS, and whatever the other sites were I came across, there are folks who exclaim about the place and others who feel just as strongly to avoid it.

I guess the bottom line is to do your due diligence, as always.

UK members who want a flash should check out CJ Racing. Chris Steedman the owner can sell flashes he developed on the dyno (which he did for me, even sending it to a shop in Japan who could upload it for me), or he can develop a custom flash on his dyno.
