That is a very questionable result. I had my Gen I ECU flashed using ECUnleashed and it was a night and day difference. Ditto for the flash I got on my Gen II via Chris Steedman at CJS Racing in the UK (he emailed the flash to a shop near me in Japan).

If I were you I would be asking for a refund.

Btw, make sure you're not in T mode. I rode in that for the first 10 seconds when I got my ECUnleashed Flash, was disappointed, then realized I was in T mode. Switched it to S mode and holy s***!
Yea definitely not a "night and day difference". But I am satisfied that the air and fuel parameters have all been adjusted to better suit the bikes intended requirements.

Aw man that's a bastard....I'd hoped for you to have similar results to our UK and US owners , that's alot of coin for under average results sorry to hear .
I am not disappointed with the whole experience, but I am certainly not impressed.
there are also other things on the list to be done.
I have a replacement cam chain, tensioner, pistons and rings on the way.
as well as the dragging clutch issue...

Pretty much everyone in this forum who gets a flash raves about the difference. Makes me wonder if your vendor is legit. But it's your money...

Btw, I do have a PCV map for a Gen I S10 with Arrow headers, an aftermarket muffler and an ECU flash that I used on my first S10. If you want it, PM me your email address.

I had wondered that as well but it might be a bit hard to extract from another country...
Just dispute the charge if needed. But first see if the vendor would be willing to refund/return the ECU to the stock map.

If anyone else is looking for a good flash, it's hard to beat Chris Steedman at CJS Racing in the UK. He is even willing to email maps to a local shop that can upload it. He did that for me. 200 quid.

No sadly not, only the newer model :(
Rang them today and its $460 for the flash with a 24hr turn around the biggest hold up is couriers atm so ill look into this early Jan, most of the price is for a key - then $150 for any other changes needed later on.
John at Triplezee hasnt dyno'ed a Tenere but has flashed a few for the same reasons most people inquire about, the on off throttle and engine brake + exhaust mods.

Picking up a 2nd hand Akropovic muffler next week locally and will fit up in Jan after i get the flash, im not comfortable running an Arrow header and Akro + K&N airfilter without flash.

I finally got my ECU back today (NZ Post had lost it for 3wks grrr)

O2 sensors unplugged, fan temp 100/95

Like alot of people who've had their ECU's done mine had similar results.

Bike acceleration from low RPM in any gear is really smooth and crisp without hesitation or flat spots thru out the rev range.
No more on off snatchy throttle or harsh decel :D

S mode has alot more throttle response and alot more fun around hills :)

T mode is usable now , its not quite as responsive as the original S mode but at least theres no lag.

I live a hour away from chris in Bristol 3 yrs ago i rode my bike to chris and he had it on the rolling road dyno for 4 and 1/2 hrs wow superb
as you say T mode is like the old S mod and the bike struggling in the first 3 gears gone
