I have recently had my S10 ECU flashed with ECU Unleashed software. The bike is now performing like a 1200 should and is a joy to ride. Prior to the ECU being flashed I had a Power Commander V with O2 sensor optimiser and Autotune fitted whch made a huge differnce to the tune but did not eliminate the factory restrictions .I was advised by ECUWest to disconnect the Power Commander and Autotune as it would interfere with the flashed tune. The O2 sensors have also been disconnected.
Before I remove the PCV and Autotune from the bike has anyone used the PCV and Autotune to finetune the flashed ECU and if so was the O2 sensor optimiser removed from the system and did the bike still perform with an improvement to the flashed ECU. If not I will be removing the Power Commander and Autotune to sell on Ebay.I have traweled the net by am not able to find this specific info.
Cheers Steve

talk to AC, Snake or do a search. I think quite a few guys did the flashed ecu, and power commander route.
While you're at it...get headers from arrow. Magic!

I've done about 100 of these systems and have been working with Tenere folks for about five years... The PCV & AT work GREAT with the flash... I could type for hours about the differences.... Yes, use the PCV and the AT... I take out the 02 and optimizers...

On my sport bike I had to use block off plates to remove the system that routed air into the exhaust to help burn any unburnt fule and improve emissions. If you dont do that the auto tune wont work properly because the afr readings will be wrong. Is there a similar system on the s10?

Thanks Gents

I will reconnect the PCV and Autotune back up on the weekend.
What are ideal parameters to have in the Autotune trim table? Stick with 13.2 as before the ECU was flashed or closer to 14?

I am pretty sure there is no fresh air bleed on the S10.

I replaced my ECU-U flash with a custom ECU map (dyno setup at local tuner) and they ECU-U flash fuelling was far from optimal on my bike, they also cured the surging that happens with Arrow headers on early bikes which the ECU-U flash could not fix.

With the fueling optimised it feels a lot better than just the ECU-U flash and picked up a bit more power, not sure if you really need a dyno setup with the Autotume system - but others have similar setups to your so should be able to give you the answers to the best way to setup.

correct. Crank case breather only.
Exhuast is just that, an exhaust.

Good to know. i picked up some headers and plan to go with a slip on PCV and autotune. I can just switch the autotune between my track bike that the S10 which will save me some cash.

Anyone know where the best place to put the bung in the arrow headers for my auto tune sensor??

Installed my PCV and Autotune System back onto my bike after having my Ecu flashed.
At Idle seems the AF ratio is hovering around 11.65.
Took it for a ride with the AF ratio of 13.00 inputed into the autotune trim table and on checking after the ride the figures had changed dramatically so i did not add the trim table figures to the PCV untill i could determine what the trim table figure should be for the gen 2 ecu unleashed software .
Has anyone the correct figure for the autotune trim table?
Cheers
