Posted pics appearing sideways

Hello,
I've noticed that most of the time when I post a pic, while coorect n rightside up, once posted it shows up sideways. Am I doing something wrong. Here is a pic for example:

Oh of course it would appear right. Go to Southeast forum and look a pic I posted in "Good Place to eat in Prattville, Al" and that pic is rotated wrong, along with some I posted elsewhere.

In the metadata, there is a field for picture orientation. If you use the volume buttons as the shutter trigger, with them on top, your pics will appear upside down. You can change the orientation in photo editing software.

But the pics are just fine on my phone. Some that I posted were just fine while others posted sideways or something.

They will usually look fine on the phone, since that is where they were taken.

Well heck. Maybe it vorrected itself.
