I don’t think that with a 72 hp engine and 68 nm of torque, you will be able to "replace" the S10, ... in my humble opinion, it is a mistake. The T7 can be a companion to the S10, for slightly more complicated off-road roads. I sold my wr450, waiting for a T7 ... I no longer look for very complicated roads ... but the 450 fell short when I had to travel many km to get to "that place" I wanted to go ... T7 would be "above" the WR ... but "below" the S10

Do you mean for consumers or you talking Yamaha ditching the S10 ? If for consumer sure, go ride one & if you like it replace the S10. For Yamaha hopefully the S10 will get some updates and carry on there such a great bike. Overall the 700cc T is really a differnt type of bike I mean I don't think anyone shopping for a 1200cc ADV bike would consider the 700 T & anybody shopping for sub 460lb ADV bike wouldn't consider the S10.

Somebody posted that pic the other day. CW thought it was just a large tanked T7 for extended range. I personally wouldn't want all that extra weight up high on what's more or less a big dirt bike. I like KTM's idea of their low slung tanks; as long as they can take a crash.
