I’ve done long sections of it in Utah. Many miles of straight gravel road. Close to SLC the traffic increased and the washboard road effect increased.

Not really interested in riding it again, as there are more scenic and better motorcycle roads IMHO.

Biggest hurdle would be carrying fuel for the ride along with the camping/food/tools. Other option would be a backup truck

I’m looking at end to end which is 2200 miles (I believe). A GS rider completed it last year (RR on ADV Rider) and took 9 days. The Gas issue is only west of SLC where the next gas station is around 250miles out. Tenere with a few gallons of back up fuel shouldn’t have a problem. More important to dedicate storage space to Water back up.
