So while I'm on lock down I want to make a protector plate for the plugs I've seen a few on here. Anyone know the dimensions or have a template I can print and use - thanks..

Ps hope you are not going as crazy as me on lock down........

I'm going super crazy. Normally do 12hr+ days at work and about 500 miles per week on the S10. Going from that to nothing is driving me nuts.
Problem is I also have zero income now (self employed) otherwise I'd be ordering loads of bike bits and doing loads of maintenance.
Anyway...sorry...I divulge!!
In answer to your question, sorry I dont have a template for what you want to do but I've read on here that some people use an old number plate to fashion a guard.
I've never used a guard and have been fine but my top tip is:
Take your coils/spark plugs out and take the metal sleeves off the coils. Those metal sleeves are the problem. They rust up and CAN make it impossible to get the coils out. I took those metal sleeves off about 60,000 miles ago and no problems since

Soemeone shared this on Facebook yesterday, any bit of plastic will do but an old number plate seems to be the normal choice.

Wow...that's useful. Maybe I should do facebook after all. Doh!
It has its uses, loads of useful groups on there, you have to use your real name if you don't want people to find you

so today i put the home made splash guard on , with thanks to bimoto for the tips , otherwise it would have been more of a struggle then it already was , and a little added extra with the bicycle valve covers on
Doesn't that reduce the air flow to cool the engine?
