Hey everyone,

I've taken my PIAA lights off the bike today as I'm going to sell them.

Plug and play option so nice and easy.

Just wanted to make sure that I've got everything off as theres one connector on the bike that I'm not sure would have come on the bike or with the lights.

The black connector on the right hand side of the above photo connects to the white box below. Not sure if that comes on the bike or with the kit.

Not sure if anyone has some insight?

Many thanks,
Con

Looks like part of the kit to me. Did you also remove the brackets that go with the lights?

Hi mate,

Cheers I reckon it must be.
I have removed the brackets, only the ones that attach to the oem crash bars though.

I bought those lights (Thank you Con) and I have just plugged them into my bike's loom and lit up my garage so you got all the correct parts in the box. The white thing must be the relay as it clicks when you switch the lights on and off. I've ordered the brackets for under the nose fairing after removing the small plastic cover there to make sure I had the mounting holes underneath.

Glad you're happy with them!

Sorry no idea, I just plugged them into the loom at the white three pin connector and turned them on. Not even looked at the fuse box on the bike yet.

Only just got the under fairing brackets for these lights today so in the process of fitting them right now. Had a bit of trouble, although the bracket instructions gives metric allen and bolt head sizes, they appear to be imperial, so had to bodge my way through that with a well fitting star socket and an imperial socket and the holes for the lamp pivot bolts to go through were a smidge too small so a little bit of filing needed. Got the lights attached will look at wiring them up tomorrow.

Neither did I till I started searching on t'internet, I was going to make or adapt something else originally. Piaa sell them for the XT1200, got them from Amazon UK, it's taken a while though, so probably shipped form US or China.
