Picked my bike up last Friday outside of Payson. It's not what I expected............It's MORE!!!! If anyone in the Phoenix Valley wants to go for a ride let me know. I have good street skills but I am a total greenhorn to off-road stuff. If you have the patience, I am willing to ride.

The wife and I will be out in phoenix considering her relocation offer from her company. I was thinking about renting a bike while out there. Any road suggestions? Probably want to stick to pavement as we are going to be riding two up.

This time of year, its north or east from the valley, in order to climb out of the heat. For a day run, I just did the loop from Apache Junction up through Miami/Globe, Show Low and Payson. Where are they putting you up at?

I don't know what the closest bike rental place is to Tempe, but the one by my house in north Phoenix is AZ Sportbike Rentals (www.azsportbikerentals.com). I know they have an FJR, but I think its pretty popular, as it its rarely out on display. Its about a 20-30 minute ride from Tempe to the rental place.swampyvt said:
