Needless to say, I rushed the purchase of my Tractive and he now has a Penske 8983 with NO hydraulic preload adjuster at his shop, ready for sale... Just to anyone thinking about getting the Penske shock, I couldn't be more pleased with mine with about 20k miles on it. Set up by the guys at Penske for my size and roads that I ride (no trails), the Penske made me a happy owner.
