Looking for help. I need to order some paint. I have a red 2015 S10. I’m finding the color described in two ways online: Deep Red Metallic AND Candy Red. I don’t think they made both in 2015?
Any ideas? Thanks.

Honda usually has a paint code sticker on the bike somewhere, for example on my Goldwing it’s placed on the inside of the gas door , so the sticker is very easy to see and read if you know where to look for it. Doesn’t Yamaha do something like this with their motorcycles ?

Yes. There is a color code but when I look it up on the Yamaha reference, it gives two colors. I’m going to call dealership today and try to get clarification. I’ll post result should it come up for anyone else. Thanks.

Looks like some dealers refer to the red as “cherry red”. However, for anybody searching for official color name/code for 2015 S10:
Deep Red Metallic K Tricoat
Yamaha code: 0918

So is there a code sticker anywhere on the Tenere that indicates the code ?

Apologies if you are a paint professional but are you applying this yourself? If so and you have not worked with 3 coat systems before I strongly encourage you to practice on some scrap first. Matching the color, metallic flop and keeping the appearance even is a challenge without electrostatic equipment. It can be done though with practice

Good LucK!
