Here's a pic of my beast and a SPOTWALLA screenshot of where I rode an Iron Butt Association BB2500K/BB1500M a couple of days ago:

Looks like a great ride Mate !!! A nice loop option but probably a high chance of getting your picture taken by the wrong kind of people ::26::

We did Melbourne to Broken Hill and return for our IBA ride and I am certainly envious of the candle power you have up front.

Consequently I'll be adding the Alt Rider Upper bars soon and hanging some extra lights off them.

I hope that is a correct map... it is awesome.
Yes Tim, its generated by the SPOT tracker on the handlebars.

I spent all night 'looking for roos, looking for roos' but only saw 4 live ones in 36 hours. Surprisingly only 1 on the Silver City Highway - that's the kangaroo's tail for those not familiar with the route.

OXcellent!.

I suppose pretty soon you will have to fit some Air Horns to that thing as well. What a beast.

That's excellent! It's one of those things you wonder who dreamt it up or recognized the route.
Thanks for sharing it.

Ahhhh. That would be me.

Three weeks ago I ran a 4200km/3000mile hour shark-shaped ride downunder on my FJR. Thats like a San Diego to Jacksonville IBA 50CC distance, but without riding on Interstate 10.

On that ride I hit a kangaroo just an hour or so into the ride. I taped up the broken plastics, through away the broken fender and rode on. One of my Aussie LD mates made the comment "next you'll be riding the roo".

Last Tuesday I had a couple of hours off work and devised the route:

Wednesday night after work I rode to a town near the start. Pre-dawn Thursday in subzero temps I set off for the 36 hour ride. Nice way to spend a couple of days. ::008::
