Open evening at the local bike store

Ordinarily wouldn't venture out on Thanksgiving but the local dealership is throwing a little soiree for the great and the good ..... so I'm invited ;D
The UK reps and management from Yamaha should be there so I'll try to get them to give me figures for Super Tenere sales globally.

Well neither this nor the Bike Show got me any closer to the Tenere sales figures. Yesterday, the Yamaha guy did seem to suggest that they were not selling particulary well in the UK. He couldn't comment for Europe generally. They have absolutely no clue as to what is happening in the US. I have another avenue open to me. I'll try that soon.

If the UK figures are low I would put this down to price, whilst I love the bike and will be getting one it's actually well outside of most peoples budgets. Again although I am getting one I don't actually feels it screams value for money.
