PS. Sedona is gorgeous, as is most of AZ. But, traffic can be horrendous; be patient.

wife and I live in Buda (just south of "weird") I try to stay out of Austin as much as possible . we are even thinking of moving some where less weird.
AusTexS10 , I'm actually Lockhart born and raised , been in this area most of my 63 years.

Yeah, and I remember when Buda used to be way out on the prairie from Austin, instead of joined at the hip. Austin used to be so much cooler pre-1970s before they started paying salaries to city council members; before that, the council was made up of successful civic-minded business people that knew how to run a business that served for free and made business-like decisions for the city. Ever since, all we've had are a bunch of community activist types that likely could not hold down a real job. Still a pretty city, aside from being overrun by homeless camps.

some of the Austin council are completely crazy....... highest murder rate since the 70's..... but that's what Austin voted for.
