I appreciate the link and info. I'll jot down the not so squirrelly stuff and add the wilder stuff to a list if I can get a few more people involved. I'd also camp but I feel like that would just be cruel to my passenger. Also, your trip looked like it was phenomenal.

I'm retiring June 2nd. Wouldn't mind going to Alaska as it has been on my list for years. When you plan on going?

I'm heading up the end of July currently. Just keeping tabs on the wildfire situation.

Avoid the Alaska Highway and take 37N instead. It's a nicer route anyway IMO.

Heading to the Island for couple days then heading to Port Hardy for the 18hr ferry ride to Prince Rupert.
We will be riding the Stewart Cassiar highway to Watson lake where we will continue towards the arctic circle.
