Yeah H is probably fine, but I scored a set of OEMs for almost the same money.

Gotta say 'm pretty darn happy with the stock Bridgestones. They stick well, no issues, decent in the wet. They have 12,182 miles as of today and I figure I can get 2000-3000 more out of them. I'll have to report back after they're done.

12K on the front, back, or both? And you are talking about the Battle Wings? Because I'm going to be lucky to get half of that. Of course there was a learning curve early on with braking and down shifting.

I have still the stock BW 501 and 502 on my bike.
And the last 5000 km, I have used 2,3 mm of the tread.

That means I will get about 15.000 km out of the tires (9300 miles) So over 14.000 miles, is pretty god.

I get out of the stock Bridgestones:
12K front,
8K rear.
I'm gonna change to something else, at least in the rear...................tire, tire!

My first set of OEMs went about 12k on the rear and 19K on the front. I like to ride fast and smooth.

7.5k for my rear to wear bars. That’s about the same as I got with Torrance’s on my big BMWs or Gripsters on my smaller BMW. I bought another BW for the rear and I hope my front will last long enough for it. Then at 15k, I will switch to a matched set of E07s or K60s. The chip seal roads I ride and the higher road temps in TX make long lasting tires only a dream for me.

We don't get really hot temps too often up here. My OEM rear was replaced at 6800 but probably could have gone 7500 at least. The front was good for 10k easy.

Yeah, ain't they great. You're mileage is closer to what I'm going to get. I didn't even think about road surface composition. I knew the heat, my weight, & riding style didn't help. ::001::

Update: I now have 13.800 on my OEM Battlewings. Front and rear. I'd say I'm definitely comfortable getting another 1000-2000 miles out of them. Season is coming to an end. So I might change them over the winter even if they are not quite toast.

Silly grip. Great tread life. Stiffer sidewalls than BW so you could air down some if you wanted to (I didn't). I'm taking mine off right now after 12k miles just because I've got some E-07s to put on. I ran 40/42 psi f/r for most of those miles, and 38/40 at the end. They were great, and I'll probably run them again.

I have my battle wings with maybe half tread. If you pass through Des Moines I will give them away.

Ok Id say the season is over up here in Massachusetts. I may get in another 100-200 miles by the end of the year. My stock tires currently have 17,121 miles. Both the front and rear are near the wear marks but not quite touching. The way they are wearing I could get another 1000-3000 miles out of them. 1000 miles would be to the wear marks I'm guessing. Since these tires performed and lasted so well I can't stray. I ordered a new set today from american moto tire for $243 delivered. Cant beat that.

At the end of the season I had 17,222 miles on my battle wings. I still feel I could have gotten another 1000-2000 miles from them but decided to change them over the winter while it’s convenient.

Now I will also be replacing the OEM Battle wing 501/502.
They are not completly worn out, I guess at least about 1000 km left in the tires.
Front and rear is very close to wear out at the same speed, which I think is perfect.
The ODO is 13458 + at least 1000 km left in them, meaning I would have gotten close to 15000 km of these tire.
I drive 95% small back country roads, so a lot start and stop, and up/down in speed. (absolutly no commute driving, only pleasure :) )
I have had no bad experince with these tires.
