I have a set of the black OEM side cases with broken lock tabs (some local entrepreneur decided to see what they had to offer inside) that I’ve replaced via insurance, and now these cases and hardware are taking up space in my storage unit.

Maybe somebody can use them? I’ll definitly let them go for an incredibly low price, if there’s any interest. I’m located in Victoria BC, Canada.

I’ll see if I can grab some pictures tomorrow. Thanks!

Overall they're in decent shape. there's a bit of a dent (my first real drop) and some scratches by the 'black claw' sticker, but the rest is just dings and scrapes from offroading. Except the locking tab, that's totally broken. And according to my local dealer, it's not a part that can be replaced. So...there's that.

I figured if I could get a couple bucks for these to offset the 500$ deductible I had to pay out, and also save some bags from the trash maybe everybody can come out happy!

Hopefully someone can use them. I tried to remove the right side case today to help with removing the rear wheel but I couldn’t get it to release, I must have been doing something wrong ?

I often have to "loosen" the mechanism to attach/detach the bags if they have been sitting for a while. On or off the bike. I just cycle the front orange "twisty thing" back and forth several times. The lock then stays loose until the next time that they sit for a while.

I am unable to get the front orange twisty thing to move.

Well duh I finally figured it today, the lock needs to be turned counterclockwise first then everything works like it’s supposed to !!!

I just saw this. After an injury and a divorce, I finally got my S10 a set of crash bars and have started riding the NFS roads by Mt. Baker and need a set badly. If the sale doesn’t work out, I’d like to be #2 in line.

Thanks,

Kevin
