OK, so Ive gone through the OEM part fishe for the OEM boxes and foot pegs mounts. Neither myself or yamaha dealer has a clue on how to purchase the OEM hardware (bolts) for the side bags (footpeg bracket mounts). There is no listing for the bolts on the parts fische? I lost a bolt on my last trip out. Yes, I know a trip to Ace can scrounge up one thatll work..... I usually like to keep bolts and stuff OEM. You guys have any ideas? Thanks. Nothing sacred about the ORM bolts. I’ve occasionally seen OEM mount kits for sale on EBay and such.

Right on, perfect! Thx guys! Looks like I need the 8x45mm and nut. Ill run those part numbers by the dealer tomorrow. I see on the bag that the parts are only available in the set (WTH?). Ill keep my finger crossed I can get em. Makes sense now why they dont pop up on the parts fische, I guess. Id still figure theyd offer the complete kit of nuts and bolts as a last resort, but who knows WTHTT.

Thx again.

I'm always a fan of getting OEM belts for trim and the like. If the dealer gives you any grief or the pricing is out to lunch, try a bolt supplier in your area.

I am surprised the bolt actually fell out, isn’t the nut one of those self locking things designed to prevent that from happening ?

I haven't taken the other side apart, not really sure if theyre self locking. I know they arent stover nuts and dont appear to be a nylock nut at a glance. My guess is just a standard nut. No biggie, the list Pkell and Al provided netted me some part numbers. I was able to order the stuff from the dealer no muss no fuss. This time a dab of lok tite is going on.

Hopefully this post helps others that run into the same issues. I bought the bike used, so I didnt have the parts list with the boxes. Cuz like earlier, the hardware isnt something your gonna find on the bikes parts fische if they get lost.
