Hi there!

The previous owner of my bike(XT1200Z 2010 First Edition blue) removed all the decals from the tank side panels. I am looking for the templates to make them print.

Does anyone have the templates for those decals? I mean the models in 1:1 in a pdf or so.

Thank you very much and thank you for all!

Of maybe just get a different T-12 graphic kit. There's some pretty nice ones out there.

Years ago I created an svg file for that yellow decal for another member on here. I'll look on my laptop and see if I still have the file. It may not be an exact copy, since I had to estimate the proportions from a photograph. If you're taking the design to a graphics shop for reproduction, it's cheaper for you if you can give them an svg file rather than a pdf.

It's possible to take that photo you posted and create an svg file for the black and white stripe, but accuracy might be a little tough since there's a curve on the body panel. I might take a crack at it, just for fun.

I looked through my files and found the image; it's not exactly the OEM one, I modified it at the member's request. This is what it looks like:

The image should print at the proper size. If you download the image you can import it into a Word (or LibreOffice) text document, cut it out and see if it fits the way it's supposed to. Just for confirmation, the image is 4.77 inches wide by 2.98 inches high.

If the image size fits, I can modify it to look like the OEM one, that doesn't have the Taureg Man image and has the proper lettering. If the shape isn't quite right, it can also be modified. This decal is fairly easy to recreate, since the original one is on a relatively flat surface on the bike and can be interpreted more precisely from a photo.

I did notice that some of my lettering is a bit off in the kern. This was early on in my attempts to use this graphics program, so I was still kind of a novice at it. It's fixable.

Okay, here's a new version of the side decal, created from the photo you posted. I can't quite tell from the photo if there's a white border around the decal.

The color is the best approximation I can get from my graphics program. A graphics shop could tweak it. I've attached a PDF of the decal. Apparently I can't attach an svg file in here, so if you want the svg file for a graphics shop, just message me with your address.

I'll take a crack at the side decal.

If you want to cut out the pdf and see how it fits on the bike, I can tweak the design if it isn't right. I see from your last post that there is a border on the decal, so I can add that. I can probably estimate the size of the side stripe and recreate that for you too.

You're welcome. Give me a day or so to tweak the side decal to look more like the photo you posted and work on the stripe, and I'll post the new stuff.

Here's the version based off the more recent photo you posted. It didn't take as long to create as I thought it would. For future reference, each image is 183.16 mm wide by 95.53 mm high.

Okay, here's what I came up with:

Based on your photos, I estimated the stripes to be a little over 13" long. If you cut the ones out of the pdf document and test fit them on your bike, they should be about the same size (or at least close to the same size) as the OEM ones. For your reference, actual .png image of the stripes is 201.37 mm wide by 353.72 mm high.

Like I said earlier, if you plan to take these to a graphic design shop to have them made, let me know and I'll email you the .svg files.

I got mine from tankpads brasil. Very good quality, resin that really sticks very well.
Not affiliated, no profits, just a happy customer. Very fair pricing too..01B2BE6C-7EC7-44AF-9229-C8EEAF70369E.jpeg
