Noticed oil trailing along the rear fender all the way back to the license plate holder. It is slowly dripping onto the wheel. . I cant find the origin. See pictures20200718_115627_HDR.jpg20200718_115627_HDR.jpg

Is there a crank case vent tube? It has been hot here in Alabama. I lifted the tank, no oil anywhere. I inspected everything with a flashlight and mirror. Found nothing.

I'm going out to my bike to do a highway peg swap and will be back a little later. I'll check back to see if you found the issue. It could be something very simple.

Yes there is a vent tube at the bottom of air box. That's what I was thinking.

I checked the vent line to the air box. No leaks there. At first, I thought I ran through oil at a red light but the tires showed no signs of it. I will keep looking.

Check your rear shock.
If nothing else wash the bike, ride through somewhere dusty, then look again when you get home.

Looks like you rode through something. It’s right in the middle of the fender. There wouldn’t be any on tires if you rode a few blocks afterward.
