seems these folks http://www.niehauscycle.com/map_hours.asp are gonna have an S10

on January 20, 21, 22 @ their dealership. The words got out on ADVrider several days ago.

I am going to be there on Thursday morning the 20th.

I have called them to verify - the gal that answered said it was FOR SURE happening.

I will now not go to the Chicago show and buck all the humanity and parking & cost...

simply will head to just North & East of St Louis and sit on the new sled there.

Sounded like they were gonna do something for the ADVriders coming in (Lunch thingie maybe??*)

Well, that is great news that you are going to be there. I have been working with Brad Niehaus for some time on this and we were excited when we were notified early last week that we would have one for display in January. Since it will be there for 3 days, it would be difficult to arrange a lunch, but we are working on some SWAG for anybody that tells one of the sales guys you read about it on here or on advrider.

I am a long time customer of this first class dealership, having bought my first new bike, a TX500 Yamaha from them in 1973. I retired from my real job in 2003 and now my part time retirement job is filling in for the real sales guys when they take vacation and also doing some set up of new bikes during peak periods. BTW, I WILL be setting up my own Super Terere when it gets here!

I also told Brad that I would hate for it to disappear overnight while it is here and so, for safekeeping, I had better ride to my home each evening.

The Tenere will only be here on Saturday January 8, 9am to 4pm. Yamaha has informed us that it is for display only, no test rides. It will the at our St. Ann store, 9851 Saint Charles Rock Rd., Saint Ann, MO 63074, (314) 427-1204. We look forward to seeing you.
