North East Tennessee Fire roads/Trails/Rides

Just relocated to an area near Kingsport TN which is Tri-cities area. Just about to start doing research on areas to do some riding off the pavement. Any one have any suggestions to help point me in the right direction? I know pretty much nothing about the area except the fish bite well. Thanks

Riding North Carolina, TN and VA

I have had some out-of-towners mention that they have a hard time finding threads from rides and riders in North Carolina. I'm thinking this thread...

I ride this area quite a bit, over as far as Damascus to the east and Tellico Planes to the west.
South down to north GA.
