For those that came to the S10 from a V-strom 1000 you might remember the Sharealike clutch mod, now I'm no way inferring the noise we hear on the S10 is caused by the same issues found on the DL1000 but I thought I'd share this just so you can see what can be done to a clutch by a skilled engineer.
I had a 2008 Strom and had this done and it transformed the bike but after all of the work done to the clutch it still went a bit quieter when the clutch was pulled in.
