I have an issue where my the plug end that attaches to the headlight come loose ALL the time and I have to open up the cap and reseat the plug. It's just worn out a bit... or the male end on the bulb is a tad small, not sure which.

You might just check that first. I can't be the only one with that issue and it's an easy thing to check.

Edit: Scratch that. I just went to pull the cap and swap in LED bulbs and noticed that my issue is actually with the female plug. One side of the connector has a wire pulled partially out so it's not making a good connection. I need replace it. You might check your plug wires as well, but I doubt that's it.

Make sure the engine is running. There will be no power to the headlights until after the starter switch has been actuated.

maybe you missed it, no power to those plugs until the engine is actually running, just turning on the key doesn’t power those plugs the engine needs to be running
