Hi from the north of England.

I took the plunge on Friday and put a deposit down on a 2014 ZE model, picking it up next weekend. First job will be to transfer my Sat nav over and decide whether I want a taller screen.
I'm moving over from a Varadero - had that for 12 years and 64k miles so hoping the relationship with this Yamaha is as good.

Welcome from the SW!
The ZE or ES IN UK are getting popular now in the Uk. Especially if you carry a pillion and loads.
You’ll love the low down grunt and reliability same as the Honda bit if you fancy a bit more off road its more capable the the Varadero.
Our 2018 S10 meet weekender is in Wales on October 12th. See Uk forum area of this site for details and hope to see you there?

Welcome to the group. You should find the big girl to be a nice upgrade and it will do well on the dirt lanes.

Yep.. welcome.. I've organised a weekend in Wales for October... Some great mountain roads and company in a quirky hotel.. :D

You'd be welcome... ::003::

A tip, the taller screen looks pants! So I fitted a spoiler to the top of the standard one (About £20)... I found that the tall screen didn't actually do much apart form obscure the view when it gets dirty!

We have an active facebook group as well...

Welcome from Wales! I bought a new non ES in 2016 but I made a mistake and should have gone for an ES, by the time I added the centre stand, grab rails, rack and heated grips I was almost at the ES price any way. That said I've had 2yrs of trouble free miles with many more to come.
