Found one of the 7.5 amp fuses blown in the left box. I'm assuming electric throttle value or odometer/clock/immobilizer (just looking at the service manual). Whichever one it was, the bike started no problem and I'm back to good. This bike I've done very little to, worked on it minimally (unlike other bikes I've had), and am a little spooked by all the electronics in the case of a breakdown in the middle of nowhere. Thanks again everyone for sharing your advice. Much appreciated.

Check all the other fuses? When my daughter's dimwit boyfriend (ex fortunately) connected the jumper cables to her car backward, it blew out a couple of other small fuses too, one of which was for the EFI. Make sure you're always disconnecting the negative battery terminal first and reconnecting it last.
Yes that is a VERY important thing that many folks seem to be unaware of !!!
Always disconnect the battery ground wire before working on anything electrical, it could save you a lot of time and money.

. . . . and am a little spooked by all the electronics in the case of a breakdown in the middle of nowhere. . . .
I'm with ya', but we have to get used to it. . . . cars, trucks, bikes, even my Jeep. One good EMP, and we're all walking. Actually, I have my FJ and my wife's TW. ;)
