So picked up the bike on Monday. Can't believe how good it is. Now need to accessorize. Heated grips. Not fitted a standard is a real oversight on Yamaha's behalf. Bash plate, and engine bars are a must. So to shopping. Altrider looks good. What do others think.

I have a Alt bash plate under the Christmas tree but have not seen it yet, I would sure like to sneek a peek but I would get caught.

::004:: to the Forum and congrats on your new SuperT! Yes, heated grips from Yammy would have been nice, but several aftermarket options are available as well. I went with Symtec and they work well and are very reasonably priced.

Good luck!

Thanks for the welcome. Will be looking thru the forum for information and help.
Couple of other things I will be checking.
1. Rear rack on mine is original ( no recall item fitted)
2. Rear brake m/c cover sticks out too far. Looking for alternative.
3. Rear brake adjustment will not allow footbrake to go low enough before threaded rod contacts pedal.
4. Work out why my instantaneous fuel consumption is blank. (I will try resetting average display)
5. Buying rear top box & tank bag.
6. Reducing glare from front indicators at night. ( go LED I think)
7. Increasing clutch lever adjustment. Even on 4 it is too far out.

Welcome on, Epping, and G' Day, eh? I have SW Motech bars and engine guard, and am pleased with both. Are you going for panniers? Lots to choose from. Anyway, since it's summer there (and NOT here), have fun. Send pics. Again, ::004:: . R ::022::

Congrats and welcome. Givi bars are great for the price. Revzilla has them for a Goidelic price. I have some AltRider stuff too. Have fun.
