Greetings from the UP of Michigan, where the inhabitants are known as "Yoopers" and consume a baked pastry called pasty's( pasties!). I'm closing in on my 6th decade on this here earth and look forward to many great trips on my Super Tenere.
I picked up my '16 ES in excellent shape which will, unfortunately, sit in storage until the winter snow recedes in the spring. However, this will not inhibit getting the desired farkles for her. ACD skid plate has been ordered, plans for panniers to buy, and other tidbits to fit out for future adventures.
I have plans of putting the S10 right to work on a few spring time shake down runs in Michigan to get it fine tuned for longer trips to come. First long one on the list is another trip to Newfoundland to visit friends and then finish the trip with a run around Labrador. East, West, North and South routes will be programmed into the GPS for future fun.
Thanks to all the great information on here I am looking forward to many great trips, meeting new friends and with the help of the S10 I will see much of this great continent of North America!
