Greetings from the South,
I have been an Super Tenere fan for years and this last Saturday I got lucky and found a 2013 ST with 2148 miles on it for $7199! I think that was a good deal. I had to pay tax, title and tag on top of that but still think I did good. I have been learning many things from this forum and hope to learn more.

Congratulations on the find. That's less that half way to the REAL break-in point. (5k miles). It makes a difference.

I got it from a Harley dealer that really was trying to get rid of it. According to the salesman a guy traded it in for a Harley. Said the guy just didn't like that kind of bike and wanted a cruiser. The funny part was I was going to ride it back home (1-1/2 hour away) and had all my riding gear (adventure type). Should have seen those Harley guys looking at me standing in front of the Harley place with my gear on. I kinda stuck out of the crowd!

Welcome to the forum neighbor. I got my '15 from a Harley dealer too, but a tad farther west, in Washington state. :D Got a nice ride home out of the deal. Great deal on your new to you steed. Maybe we can get together some time and enjoy a beverage?

IL, the land of straight, flat, boring roads
I'm in Saltillo which is northern part if Tupelo.
Ah, right off of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Been thru that way a time or 2 when I took the scenic way from my home in IL to visit my son in Biloxi. Also stayed in Tupelo when he and I rode the Parkway south to north on our KLR's a few years ago.

Byron, first of all: WAAAAARRR EAGLE!!!! Second: I'm a native of NW Alabama/NE Mississippi. Last two places I lived before moving up here to northern Missouri were just northeast of you, south of Hobo Station/north of Marietta and later between New Site and Bay Springs Lake. Used to eat a lot of awesome pizza and drink a lot of beer up at the Pizza Factory in Baldwyn. Next time I get back down that way, if I've got a Super Ten by then, we oughta to do a run somewhere. I know a LOT of the pigtrails down in that area and over into NW Alabama.

I grew up and lived most of my life in NW Alabama. I grew up in Haleyville and graduated collage at UNA in Florence.
