The 2010 Super 10s are few & far between, as the early bikes were only available for pre-order & came as a fully loaded 'First Edition' with all the extras then available. I wonder if yours is one of these, or maybe a left over from the launch event.
For the launch Yamaha were drawing on their previous Paris-Dakar success with Stephane Peterhansel to highlight the strengths of the new machine & set up a 4 stage rally for biking journalists. The penultimate stretch involved riding from Alcala de Henares to the east of Madrid across to Lisbon in Portugal, before the bikes were handed over to the lucky winners of a Yamaha Ride for Life competition. The final stage saw them all charge off down to Morocco, accompanied by various Yamaha crew, PRs, & several famous riders/racers . Once there, several specially painted bikes were presented to the Riders For Health charity. I wonder if your bike was one of the FE bikes in this video: -
