Hi. I've been sneaking around getting some great info before making the plunge and buying a new, leftover '19. My first new motorcycle in 19 years, which just happens to be my son's age. Although I never stopped riding, I did have to stop buying.

Welcome to the herd. I'm down in Austin and was off of bikes for 45 years before seeing the error of my ways at age 70 (74 now). You may not be able to teach an old dog new tricks, but we're never too old to take up old tricks.

Thanks, everybody for the generous welcome. Although I haven't had a chance to ride my new bike much I'm really enjoying breaking it in. Taking it to Colorado in a couple weeks for some fall colors, and hopefully fall-like temperatures.
