If I was looking for a street/touring rig, this would fit the bill. It's lighter than my current ride, but my current ride has shaft drive, cruise, heated grips, a larger tank, electronic suspension adjustment, and works much better on a dirt road, so I guess that bill is already (nicely) filled.
Well, I bought my ‘14 non-ES in ‘14 for $15,190 OTD then added the heated grips.. pretty sure I could off-road this Honda the same way I off-road the S10. S10 has shaft drive and proven reliability but Honda gets better MPGs so one-gallon less gas doesn’t matter much. Honda also comes with panniers, a tool-free adjustable windscreen, radial-mount brakes, optional up and down quick shifter with rev-match, Apple CarPlay, and “real-man” tire sizes.
Quite like the look of the new Honda, but shame they didn’t up the BHP a little. I think the new offering from Suzuki looks more appealing, however it’s a shame no centre stand.
