Welcome!

I had to look up where Hollidaysburg is since I'd never heard of it (I'm a fellow Pennsyltuckian). Ever ride the Susquehannock state forest area? I just did a motocamping trip up there a few weeks back...beautiful.

Anyways, nice to hear from you and hopefully see you around sometime.

Well, I had to chime in on this one. I'm from Pennsylvania also. Bradford, the cold spot most of the Winter season.

I'm close to putting my deposit down on an S-10. I have a long history with Yamaha's, but not recently. My last was a new 1985 V-Max.

My last 190k miles have been on 4 BMW's. I'm keeping the R12Gs and adding the Super 10. Going to be a long Winter.

No Venture, I have not ridden the Susquehannock (williamsport area right)? I come from a sportbike background so I really haven't been off the beaten path as of yet. But thats what I'm looking forward to. There are lots of state and federal lands in PA with hundreds of miles of back roads. I can't wait to start exploring!

Yes, a it northwest of Williamsport. I stuck to the pavement while I was there since I'm on a pure road bike myself right now but I'd love to plot out some paths in that area sometime on a better-suited bike.

I was having a real blast on RT 44 until I spotted some deer, that sobered me up real quick. That's PA I guess.

Chime in all you like! I've been to Bradford once in my life. My brother spent two years at the UoP Bradford campus, after that he transferred to PSU main. I don't remember much about the area actually...except something about Zippo lighters...

Welcome.

My buddy paul bought a GS last year. I have ridden it and they really are a great machine. But I personally just was not ready to take the plunge and purchase a european motorcycle. I have grown up with japanese motorcycles and I just can't work up the nerve for anything else. So for me Yamaha has had perfect timing with the release of the S-10.

I am 33 years old and have been riding motorcycles since I was 6 yrs. old. And ridding on the street since I was 18. My current bike is a 2006 ZX-14. It's been a good run but my sport bike days are coming to an end. Im just getting to that age I guess. Anyway I have also been looking at that New Star Vmax. Thing looks awesome. I might have to try and acquire one of those after I get my S-10. How did you like your Vmax?

Hello all you Pennsylvanians!!! I am not from there, but i am a STEELER FAN!!!! I grew up in Ohio and now living in Seattle area for 4 years now. I am also only 38. It is nice to see people my own age riding respectable bikes (S10). I have come from riding Honda ST11/1300's and recently DL1000 VSTrom. Yes it will be a long winter.

Welcome.
Bradford, Home of Zippo Lighters & Case Knives. Great visitors center & store. Allegheny National Forest right up the road. Kinzua Railroad Bridge very close on Route 6 ( one of America's most scenic drives).

It's been awhile, but I clearly remember the thrill of power and agony of the seat ;D Rear tires didn't last long and the range was 120 miles max. I loved it at the time.
