Whew, what a crazy 5 months! Back on 3/17/11, I suffered a severe (as in complete snap) of my tib/fib right below the top of my riding boots. Was participating in a racing event on a 110 klx baby bike (sliding on smooth concrete warehouse floor). For all you fellow north Washingtonians, you may know the secret event held up at Skagit Power Sports. I was practicing for a full track season on my Ducati 1098.

I had placed a Super Tenere on order back in December and even posted here once, then the break. Well, long story short, doc says I am mended enough to ride with care. When Yamaha had announced the delay, I called the dealer and reluctantly canceled, not even knowing if I would ride again. But, the sales guy who knows me all too well sat on the cancellation and then at the end of May gave a me a chance to reconsider. I needed a goal and this served well.

So, yesterday, I got the all clear from the great Dr. Taranow in Bellingham, so I stopped in Skagit Power Sports on my way home (first time since I had set the goal of walking unassisted into the dealership) and come to find out that there are at least two new Teneres in a warehouse in Kent. Apparently there were a couple ahead of me, so these aren't mine. Going to ride a scooter this weekend then the wife's Monster 1100S, then her SV, then the 1098 and then I will be ready when mine arrives!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, Hello all, and I am so happy to be here!
