I bought some new Cyclops LED Headlights for my 2015 Tenere and get get the retaining wire to work

Not sure if I did the wrong bit I took out try stock bulbs by just pulling the retaining wire out of the hole and swinging it out of place on the side of the wire that has the screw in it. Now I've put the LED light and there is no room to get to wire back into that hole. I don't want to break or stretch out the wire so hoping someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Anyone else have issues with this? I've go the new Cyclops LED base turned to the 7 o'clock position but the wire retainer just won't won't go back. Photo of what I'm talking about.

You need to install the LEDs in two steps. First remove the collars from the bulbs and clip them into the back of the headlight assembly with the wire bale. Once those are secure and properly positioned the LED bulbs twist, via a bayonet type engagement, into the previously secured collars.

what WJ BERTRAND says... the instructions that came with the kit should have said that .... it will work once you separate the base and mount it in the socket then you put in the light and give it a twist... the bail should secure the base before you push in the light...

If I remember right, it's also important to be sure that you get those silver rings (that you switch from the old bulbs to the LEDs) on the right way. If you put them on backwards (inside-out), you won't be able to clip the new bulb in.

True that, pay attention to how they came off the bulb. Having said that, my rings/collars are black plastic. I have the 4000 lumens/bulb gen 2 models.

Didn't realize the bulbs came out of the bases. Was able to finally get them installed as one entire piece. Took some work but got them installed. Made sure the tab was at the 7 o'clock notch. Wow these lights are bright.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Tip:
When you take the LED collar off the bulb, Note that there are 2 slots for the bulb to slide into to collar - These slots are DIFFERENT sizes - don't mix them up when trying to put the bulb into the collar.
