I'll always cherish the memories I've made riding with you Steve. A true ADV enthusiast. The Super Tenere is my favorite bike ever. Some people have to have the latest, greatest, thing on the market.

Yeah, there was a member here that jumped ship to a Beemer. Then made almost daily reports on how much better the GS was compared to the Tenere. IIRC he couldn't understand the lack of support for his posts. I reminded him that it wasn't a BMW Forum, but there was one out there. Or the guy that didn't even have a bike but kept telling us how much better BMW was.

I have posted other bikes that I think that are interesting or amazing. But I post them as a "hey, look at this" not a "this is what you need".

I should try clarifying some of my statements related to this thread.
First off, I am not the owner of the Forum, or a moderator or have anything to do with the rule making on here. That is a good thing, or I might Ban myself.
The other day I realized while reading on a different forum that post were more favorable towards the Super Tenere on a non Tenere forum than they were on the front page of this [Super Tenere Forum]
I have no problem seeing threads on bikes like the DRs or Dirt Bikes or KLRs on the front page everyday, they are not in competition to the Super Tenere. But when a bike in direct competition is praise over the Tenere day after day on the front page then enough is enough.
I might be ban today but I will go down defending the Super Tenere on a Super Tenere forum with a clear conscience.
