Hello, has anyone had any issues with mounting their GPS on a madstad bracket? I have a medium Vstream shield with a MRA sport deflector mounted to the top and it kind of bounce around a little in the wind. I was wondering if mounting a Garmin 550 would add too much weight to what seems like an overloaded bracket? The GPS really doesn't weigh much.

My bike came with a madstad and a Ram mount ball fitted to it and it has been perfectly fine with my garmin attached to it. I'll also add that the previous owner also fitted home made braces similar to the ones being sold by a member on here, so guessing they found them to be necessary.
