Without pic and not really a quote, but the answer is a sort of ;)

- What is the difference between an iridium visor and a g-string ?

- No difference, they are both used to protect the anonymity of assholes.

Not copyrighted, everybody can share

So I can't have a go at Muslims or Christians but we can denegate a whole section of society based on body weight? I actually think its funny. I like the joke. I just want to know when I'm crossing a boundary. Haha

The thread is about "Motorcyclist Quotes" and the one about fat girls and scooters is an oldie. As for your question, let me share with you how I got a week long ban from ADVRider years ago.

There was this huge pissing contest between a few people about some BS that was really disrupting the thread. I have no idea any more about what the thread or argument were, but I posted a fairly common meme photo captioned with "Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics. even if you win you are still retarded." Didn't mean any harm to anybody and anybody involved with the Romney Camp-N-Rides sure knows I'm a sucker for anybody challenged or needing help.

Went to log in on ADV the next day to find I was banned and had no idea why. There were a number of threads I'd probably posted on so the one with the argument didn't stand out.

It wasn't till the ban lifted a week later that I found a pm from another member, relating that ADV was his relief from caring for his kid and one of the most special moments in his life was when she got to compete in - of course - the Special Olympics. He'd copied a moderator who banned me. I apologized sincerely to the guy and we actually had a nice back and forth exchange of pm's for a while.

My point is that boundaries are gray here, just like in the rest of life. I believe in the concept of proper intent.

Checkswrecks is as human as th next man. I applauded his openness and honesty. We can’t learn from our mistakes unless we acknowledged them.

A few of us (a very few) can even learn from others mistakes.

Whenever I want to sound off in a post. I always have to edit it trying to remove personal attack’s. I do this because I know it will bring harsh warnings or worse from Checkswrecks. I have come to realize you can make your argument much more effectively by removing the personal stuff.
Well shucks and you're gonna LUV this "aww shit" that happened right after I retired a couple months ago.

It is fitting that my first “contribution” on this site is from Neil Peart...

Seen on a label on the handlebars of his 1150gs, “It’s always your fault”

And in his own words,
“When Im riding my motorcycle, I’m glad to be alive. When Im done riding my motorcycle, I’m glad to be alive”

RIP, Professor
