Check out the video at the top of this thread, which is probably pretty close to what this Suzuki pilot was doing prior to the crash:

I try and keep an open mind about "personal limits" but when you're so far out there you center punch a minivan going down the freeway and end up in their front seat.... that's well beyond anything defense able on public roads.

And.... if you really want to see someone with a death wish, check this out:

i surely don't condone it either. I have my head screwed on rather straight with responsibilities.
My brother works for insurance company. He writes wreck estimates and has seen a wreck like the van one. A Yamaha Vmax slammed into the back of a car moving the rear bumper into the back seat.

Thinning out the herd I say because there is only one place someone like that is going to end up and that is in the back of a van. I'm an insurance estimator as well I travel from wreck to to wreck all day long. I see these kinds of guys on the streets all the time. It's only a matter of time when I see there bike. I see an average 10-20 bikes a season majority crotch rockets and always total losses, but I always say thats job security.

That R1 rider's not going to live long. I had a Hayabusa and sold it. It got so that 150 mph was no big deal. I almost ran into the back of a pick up truck while I was doing a top end run, once. Mis-judged his distance. I had to stand on the brakes at nearly 200 mph. I got lucky. I sold the bike the following week and bought my DL 1000. That kind of speed was too addicting for me.

Here's a pic of the Beast on the Cherahola Skyway in NC.

yeah jakeboy, i don't get the power of a huyabusa either. i rode one once that had a cam and polished head, it was insane at 1/3 throttle. I looked down at speedo as i shifted into 3rd gear and it was already at 120mph!!! Nope, that was enough!!! I got off and don't want another ride!!!

It was a bike that thought it was an airplane. I had tricked out mine pretty well. Ran 203 mph on the GPS and probably could have gotten another 2 or 3 out of it if I'd had more good road in front of me.

The guy that bought it said his buddy had a Kawi Z1000, and he wanted to "kick his butt". ::)
