Best comment from that video:
"Never seen so many little peckers comment on the most reliable, toughest animal of all that was tested. However, If the TENeray is not set up ergonomically for the individual rider, I will agree.Guess it was a set-up after the African Twin ate it at the start. These boys are ex crotch rocket, 250 dirt bike riders. Which one has 50,000 miles under them?"

After I stopped laughing at the first part his post, I tended to agree with the second part. But, did that mean that they DID set the Beemer up right? AND, as many of us know, the Tenere will keep up, quite well, with sport bikes. She shouldn't....but she does.

entertaining video, they never said a word about reliability, and the euro bikes will not measure to the Japanese made bikes. maintenance cost or fuel milage im thinking.... the tenere is an older design , I remember when it came to America how they raved about it..... and after owning mine for 5 years I still like it...

I had a KTM 1290 SA before the ST. It was a nice bike, but the seat wasn't comfortable, wind management didn't work well and maintenance was too high. Pros were the power, electronic suspension, self cancelling turn signals Cons were cruise control, chain maintenance, some finish problems (rust on handlebar bolts, peeling on KTM logo, etc..)

Yamaha is gonna have to update the S10. Both parts of this road (road, off-road) test put it in last place.
I just keep mine on the road, got to admit, it is heavy off-road.
Not planning currently on getting rid of her though.

Every one of those bikes are very heavy off road. I'm keeping mine on the road too!! I'll wait until my tires wear out before venturing in the dirt.
