Dear all. Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place. I'm thinking of getting a camcorder for the bike purely for the time when someone hits me! I'm not planning on making movies.
Several shops I've been into seem to recommend the Drift GhostX.
Whilst I'm not totally averse to spending approx £129 on the Drift there seem to be loads on ebay that seem to have similar spec at a much lower price like this one

So, I'm wondering if any of you own either of these and can offer advice. I ride in all weather and feel that a cheaper one might suffice since it will get wet muddy scratched and possibly dropped etc right from day one.
Your advice is much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Stu. I fitted a front/rear DVR. Very cheap and worked well except for vibration wearing the contacts on micro SD card!! The cameras are small, one under headlight and one under rear rack. The DVR was under the seat. I now have is wrapped in foam to offer some suspension. The tracer is very harsh. However the recordings are good and in sync.

It was via eBay , about £84. This item is the same but more expensive. 232421193727. I don't trust the waterproof claims, it's only the cameras.
