Yeah seen that to on MotoGP site , hope it makes him pull his head in next time (if he ever gets back) he has an injury and thinks about carrying on 'next week'.

Marquez is the best thing to happen to MotoGP since Stoner, hope he makes it back and in good shape for next season.

I suppose this is an example of his lifestyle catching up with him. There's always payback to make eventually, but I wish him well and hope he makes a full recovery.
I too wish him a speedy recovery. He is young so I have no doubt he will heal up ok. I see his career short lived just by the risks he takes and danger to others on the track.

Both Marquez and Stoner lack the talent and nerve of a true racer who navigates the Isle Of Man TT. I lost all respect for Marc Marquez when he made the comment that he doesn't like' the Isle of Man TT because his idea of racing is to have fun, 'not to endanger life'. Anytime we swing a leg over a bike we endanger our lives.

Marques is the Bubba Stewart of Moto GP. He takes too many chances on the track and crashes over and over. His risks to other riders is well documented. He knows deep down he would just wad up and have no sand pit to save him in the Isle Of Man TT.

I predict his comeback will be lackluster and he will end up holding back or crashing more.

In my eyes the true racers are guys like Peter Hickman who took wins at both the Macau Grand Prix and Isle Of Man TT. Both those courses are way more demanding and challenging than any Moto GP course in the world.

I went to the TT every year from 1986 through to 1996, the Joey, Hizzy, Foggy years, I’m fully aware of the demands of that circuit and the talent required to ride it at the pace the riders do.

Marquez is the master of what he does, and no less skilled because he doesn’t take on the challenge of the TT.

Just as I am with bikes, I can appreciate more than one type of racing, without pulling one down to promote the other.

As for your prediction, I’ll put it there on the shelf with your, no more V Strom prediction.

I will admit I'm not so happy with the way Moto GP has been run the past 10 years or so. The FIM is one of the crookedest and biased organizations in the world.

As I stated the Vstrom 1000 is dead and no longer being produced:

Just as I stated last year that the Super Tenere is no longer in production (just selling what is left in the factories) . These were not predictions but hard data.

The last operation consisted of a bone graft (from his hip I believe) to help the humerus heal as it wasn’t healing either properly or quickly. If it doesn’t heal or strengthen enough, he can’t (or shouldn’t) race on it. He’s young and in shape but it’s no easy thing to recover from. Hopefully this works and his timeline is good.

Not surprising really, thinking back to those ghastly X-ray images.

This is all starting to feel reminiscent of Mick Doohan's declining years, after the big crash in Holland.
