I'm looking for a set of Mitas E07 Dakar (not plus), I found them on Revzilla and Motorace for $334, nothing on Twisted Throttle. Has anyone found a better price recently?
Have you tried a local dealer you might be surprised.

Kimpex sells them up here in Canada. Their catalogues can be viewed online if you wish, but don't be scared away by the prices listed.
I was close to ordering a set online for my T700, but thought I would check my local shop to see if they could get a decent price.

Price at the local dealer was better than any Canadian online prices I could find. Price was over 25% off the listed price. $367/set tax included. (Canadian)
This was not my dealer giving me a break because a friend bought a set and he is in another province and got the same prices.

Another thing that is confusing is the catalogue doesn't list the rear tire as available in your size, but if you go to tires off their main page you will see they have rears in the size you need.

When I checked a few sizes some were not available, but the dealer said Kimpex had notes on those products showing expected availability in March.

Petes Superbikes is another option. He is a good online shop in Quebec and he usually has good prices. You need to call or email him with your sizes and he will get back to you.

I thought you were riding the Harley and Gold Wing this winter! Just laying away for summer?

True, but my Mefos are about worn out so going back to Mitas for the trip to Dawson. Moto Race had the best price 4-5 years ago but now they are available in Canada for much less than I can find in USA.

Thanks. Petes quoted $326 Canadian, plus tax and shipping so I'll be buying them in Canada. I'm in Florida for the winter, so comparing prices for oils, filters, tires, etc.

I ran the original E07s a lot when they came out. Got a much as 18k kms a set.

Then they did a compound change in 2009, I think. The rear now had a central rubber strip was the visual diff. Mileage dropped by about 4k a set, price went up 10%.

Then the plus model. Another 4k less a set, 25% more expensive.

I'd be curious to know which version is this retro model. Because at the price they're going for now, considering every new model has gotten worse mileage, it's not looking promising.

Motoz are awesome, but their prices went insane. Double what i can get a set of 805s for. I can drag pegs with these, and they're great for the gravel I ride.

Different part of the world, different prices I guess. Put on a new E-07+ Plus Dakar a month ago and still same price and availability as when I had my first set.
This time I just needed a rear, and got a production date of week 47 in 2021. Put it on this January. I deliver the rear wheel and they mount the tire, balance it, get rid of the old for only €130 (front+rear=€200).

The second pic I would have concerns but the first pic, oh hell no. The imperfections go right to the sealing edge.
They are expensive tires and for me I expect better than that. It looks like it might have been mounted before and got stuck on the rim dismounting.

Good feedback. Looked like a possible return then resell. Bought from Revzilla. Thanks, Dam
