I've been trying two windshield systems. 1. Madstad bracket with MRA touring shield w/wing and 2. Givi Airflow adjustable. There's not a lot of difference between the two. #1 lets a bit more air to the sides but the flow around the mirrors is less turbulent. #2 lifts the airflow just to the top of my helmet but there's more turbulence from the mirrors hitting the sides of my helmet.
I'm wondering if there's a solution to this mirror induced turbulence. I had similar issues with my FJR and solved it by removing the stock mirrors and installing FZ 1 mirrors that had much longer stalks. The FJR mirrors are fairing mounted unlike the Tenere. Has anyone tried bar end mirrors that would have to work with handguards and bar end weights?
