Sulak canyon - a canyon on the territory of Russia in the valley of the Sulak river, the deepest canyon in Europe. The canyon is 53 kilometers long, and the depth reaches 1920 meters. It is 63 meters deeper than the Grand Canyon in the United States and 620 meters deeper than Tara River Canyon.

If you pay attention, then below, across the river, there is a road. We drove along it to a wonderful place with a guest house, which is kept by the husband and wife. In the morning we woke up and a reward awaited us. Silence and great views.

Having dashed off enough, we were waiting for the way towards Chechnya, Ingushetia, North Ossetia. We reached Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, very quickly. Walking around the city, you will not immediately believe that some 20 years ago nothing remained of the city. But the tension and spirit of war will fly here for a long time.

To my surprise, the Chechen strawberries turned out to be very tasty and I have not eaten one like this for a long time.

После Грозного мы двинулись в сторону Черного моря по дороге, проходящей через бескрайние поля, на которых что-то росло. Впереди нас была Республика Ингушетия. Свернув с главной дороги, мы двинулись в сторону Грузии. Вокруг как всегда военные посты и солдаты с автоматами. Пришлось проехать через заповедник Эрзи.

Уже уставшие от таких красот, вечером мы приехали во Владикавказ, Республика Северная Осетия. Сняли огромное количество за копейки. На следующее утро, съев знаменитый осетинский пирог и пообщавшись с местными жителями, мы узнали, что нам нужно отправиться в место под названием Верхний Фиагдон.

There is a problem in that it is not always possible to ride a heavy motorcycle and even a light one. Beautiful places can only be seen on foot. But all the same, we saw the beautiful Caucasus with one eye.

Доехали без происшествий. По меркам России мы проехали немного, как я уже писал выше, всего 5500 км, но это было столько разных пейзажей, дорог, людей. Каждый километр таил в себе загадку. Люди на Кавказе очень гостеприимные, отзывчивые и добрые. Думаю, что еще не раз вернусь туда за новыми открытиями для себя.
