I would Nissin is the supplier. I base this on the fact that Nissin is the name on the master cylinder. Bosch is the supplier for the antilock brake pump.

Good Luck

Does not answer your question directly, but I run sintered up front and organic on the rear, as the rear will wear out due to UBS and pads are cheaper and easier to replace than discs. On my last bike (non ABS or UBS) I ran the bike for ten years and only replace the the rear pads due to age just before I sold it, that's how little I used the rear brakes, but cannot be helped with a linked brake system, which I like.

XT1200, It may be that Yamaha supplies components based on what is available. The bottom line for me is: will the component work each and every time I need it, if so the supplier makes no difference.

Thanks for the reply,Good Luck

The calipers are Sumitomo, and the mc is Brembo. This is virtually identical to many Yamaha sportbike front brake setups...very good performance and reliability, which is why they continue to show up on all sorts of Yamaha bikes. I just bought my bike used, and I absolutely love everything about the front brake performance, both feel and stopping power. I'm really hoping that the pads will tell me what exactly they are so that when I replace them I can use the same ones...no need to reinvent the wheel.
