So how often does the manual CCT need to be adjusted ?

To all folks,

I only have one guy who rides his bike enough to tell any difference, (now has 108K miles). I tend to look and SLIGHTLY adjust his MCCT about 20/25K miles or so... When I do, it tends to be about 1/8 of a turn.

***********THIS IS NOT A RULE OR TO BE FALLOWED. It just happens to be an "idea" from my experience, with the use of a Graves MCCT (fine thread) If you run an APE the threads are thicker and my 1/8 reference would have no meaning.

Hi to all!
Just finish replacing the OEM CCT and installing the APE manual CCT, the process went smooth with no issues! also started the engine and warm it up to assure the proper manual adjustment was done and no noice!
It was simple, the only thing I had to do is move the gas tank a little to be able to have room for replacing the CCT and was no problem!
I will crank the engine cold later to see if there is any noice.

Thanks for all of you with comments, suggestions and recomendations, it help a lot.
Have a nice week!

Just did mine over the weekend. I machined my own based on the APE design, its like the bike is brand new again.
the death rattle got suddenly louder and was present longer on a ride last weekend (to a point that a friend with a Harley riding with my actually pointed out that the sound changed).
Factory 23P CCT was slightly wedged in the bore and wasn't providing tension.. sigh.
