very cool , what was your technique?
Didn't go into it fasting. Had a good breakfast of biscuits and gravy. Then drank a few beers an hour or so before sitting down (stomach pre stretch). I did it at lunchtime. Attacked the meat first like an animal. Got halfway thru in about 15 minutes so at that point I knew I had a really good chance so paced myself some. Ended up finishing in 52 minutes I believe. Biggest problem for me was my jaw got really sore from all the chewing.

Interesting. I can imagine soreness in the jaws. As I get older I find I eat less but get fatter. Go figure.
Eat less but most also exercise less as they age. I was young then, weight didn't stick. Was willing to try anything but honestly did it mostly for the free food not the challenge. I've thought about doing it again but I don't pass by often and timing hasn't been right.

so its Friday , my trip fading into my review mirror . what next . planning to ride dirt bikes tomorrow , what could go wrong. may have to work that's what . big project in front of the new Tesla factory in Austin TX. and or it could rain , 80% forecast for tomorrow . so might get rained out in any case . so no extra money on my check or no extra fun on my dirt bike . will see what happens .
for me as an older and not experienced as a dirt rider , being on the bike as often as possible (and with the beta I'm really wanting to ride more ) is helping me in my confidence and I learn a skill or two occasionally . so it has been a month since I last played in the dirt . will see how much ive slipped in this time . it may be that I just play in my back yard on the bike ,better than nothing .

Something that will help you a lot is by simply swinging a leg over your bike and trying to balance it. Also braking drills. You have the ultimate backyard to practice in!!

Hey want to have some fun? At the end of your shift when they are ready with final grading, take out the grade stakes and swap them around. We used to do this as teens and drove the engineers crazy!! LOL

80% chance of rain never happened. So we rode dirt bikes. 89 degrees and high humidity. But in the shade and a breeze it was tolerable. Staying hydrated was a challenge. In the end my urine was orange gatoraid . Did about 6 miles.
