On your way to everywhere, , Iowa
A few of us are supposed to be heading to a MX track around noon. It's windy here but that sand track doesn't have much for jumps anyway.
Great riding today. I put in 5 , twenty minute motos. Good exercise.
My boy.

I’m working on a job project that is 7 days a week for the next 5 or 6 weeks, so no activity on riding the X . My neighbor took his bike to the track last Sunday and said it looked like a race day as there were so many riders there. People want to get out .

bored bored and more bored ..... each day the politicians add another layer of crazy to the covid19 cake they are making the world take a bite out of. was not too long ago that mask were a waste of time and would not stop this , now its all about the mask...... since this is Madhatter wants a dirt bike thread , I am always excited to see how many have taken a moment to read my dribble , and even more excited when a few of you add to this thread ..... its more about doing something one has always wanted to but almost waited to long .... not about my skilll , I'm laughing the most , not even I think about a honda x , which I really like even though I have not had enough time to ride it like I should ...... hope to change this soon , but no, now we have a pandemic that's going to wipe out the world ( I do not believe that for a moment ) but it is wiping out the hopes and dreams of countless million of people in this country and the world ...... that it is doing very well at. how much longer can the average person last when their last dollar is spent on the last roll of TP. then what ,more printed government money to get by own ... the TP will be worth more than the dollar soon .... they will soon devalue the dollar , inflation will destroy everything else we as a people hope for . its coming . only the despots of the world will come out on top ..... they now no how to cage us . we will in fear lock ourselves up . and give all our freedoms up for what , an extra day of life .... life is important , most of us like life , but with out freedom its not much of a life. I now have a piece of paper in my truck that says I am an essential worker should law enforcement stops me going to work , so we have come to a place were I may have to show my papers . seems I have heard that before , oh yeah , WW2 movies of germans asking for papers .... I have papers what about those who do not . if you get a chance to ride , go. I will . the better news is its raining so I got a day off , boring .

so tomorrow is Palm Sunday , that Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem and knowing what was going to happen to himself did it anyway . that he new a roman cross was 100% fatal 100% of the time , and did it anyway . that is love , that is freedom , he did it for all of us . so tomorrow when we look across our great land with almost everything locked down , it makes me feel ashamed . that's just my feelings on all of this and some or most may not agree , that's ok . in the end we will all no and understand what really happened to our nation because of this . I hope it is sooner than later. God bless all of you . and ride baby ride when you can .

Well with being injured, my usual 30 minute countershaft seal replacement/ oil change turned into an almost 3 hour job!! Being right handed and right shoulder injured sucks. Using my left hand for repairs sucks worse. After I was finished my body was wiped out and I just collapsed in my recliner.

Replaced the bolt, washer, seal, bushing and 0-ring. Did an oil change both sides. Motul 300 in the engine and Pro Honda HP 80W/85W oil in the transmission side. Got the engine warm and let it run in 1st gear for a while. Put a paper towel under it overnight. No leaks!! I can't wait to be healed up and this virus crap to be over with. It sucks not being able to ride. I start both my bikes up at least once a week or so.

BTW I highly recommend Honda HP oil for transmissions. I have used every single oil you can thing of. This stuff is the smoothest shifting oil I have ever used. It's been my go to oil for a few seasons now.
