cold morning , 32 f , would be a nice morning around the fire . if we had one . can't wait for this Friday , the high is forecast at 33 f for here just south of Austin TX .
and merry Christmas to all on the forum . I hope it is a great Christmas for every one.

During the summer, I pick up the branches/twigs in the yard while I'm mowing and throw them in the fire ring. By Winter, there's plenty of fuel for a good fire. It's easy to light too. The bigger stuff is kept nearby to keep it up once it's started.

I do the same thing , but fire ring is currently empty . nice fire ring you have there , still working on mine as I find good rocks .

its arctic blast #1 , 14 degrees F. this morning and a forecast high of 32 F . not above freezing till Saturday afternoon . and then only briefly. good news before New Years back to Texas normal , 70's .

still in a holding pattern on the dirt bike ... weather is drought , rancher concerned about grass .... been a year of nothing so far .

cold wet and ice .... I was outside with the dogs at 5 am this morning ... heard sliding tires and metal crunching on the highway. ice doesn't care what you drive or how good you think you are.

Supposed to get up to 40 degrees here today, that’s very warm for February.

44° and pouring rain at the moment. Grass is still green and growing even after last week's freeze.

May through October is lawn mowing time up here, I usually mow lawn about 21 times per year

That's about 5 months down here. Dec, Jan, and Feb = once a month. Mar and Nov = 2-3 times a month. The rest are 4 times a month, depending on rainfall.

mowed Moms grass this past Tuesday , and my grass today. spring is sprung in central Texas.

I saw that on the Weather Channel today. Gadzooks. We should be about done with our Winter.
